First Monolouge
This monolouge is about a girl claiming that she saw a ghost. She is bragging to her friend about it by retelling the story dramatically. Then the friend calls her out and my character gets defensive and angry that she is being called a liar.
My character is 8-10 years old. She is short and has blonde hair. Some characteristics of her are that she likes to brag. She thinks that she is really brave when in reality she has fears that she covers up. She is also very defensive and won't admit to being wrong. Some mannerisms that she has are she uses very big gestures with her hands to emphasize her points. In addition, she rushes some words when the actions she are describing are fast and others she speaks very slowly to create dramatic effect.
In this scene I will run in from upstairs looking scared. When I see my friend I will play it off like I wan't scared. After I will claim that I saw a ghost. Next, I will move my hands around to indicate the presence of a ghost. Then I will freeze with fear and come back to telling the story quickly. After I will pace a few times and then stand still and look at my friend to see if she will be as brave as me and go to see the ghost. Lastly the friend will notice that I wet my pants due to the presence of the ghost. I will claim that I spilled water on myself and try to regain my confidence.
